As Greenspoint grows, community needs expand, and the increased services bring higher expenses. Greenspoint Community Partners (GCP) is charged with securing alternative funding sources to supplement District services and initiatives. GCP believes that the happiness and prosperity of its families and businesses depend greatly on the health and vibrancy of the community's economy.

GCP was created in 2004 as a 501 ( c )(3) organization, to work closely with the District and other public and private organizations to fund programs that strengthen the community. It focuses on three key program areas:

• developing parks and trails
• ensuring public safety
• creating an attractive community
