Thomas R. Wussow Park
500 Greens Rd.
Houston, TX 77060
If you (or your kids) need to burn off some energy, Wussow Park will keep you busy. This 11-acre park includes ball fields, a playground, a spray ground, hike-and-bike trails and a public pavilion. The entire park, as well as its pavilions, sand volleyball courts, and baseball/ soccer fields, are available for reservation. Wussow Park is named in recognition of District founder and current board member Thomas R. Wussow. The park is located at 500 Greens Road.
For programmed events, Wussow and CityView parks provide scenic venues for sports activities that are open to the public and hosted by the Aldine-Greenspoint YMCA. Additionally, the YMCA has partnered with the parks' owner, the Greenspoint District, to provide event coordination services for the many area residents who visit the parks each year.
