Greenspoint District Partners

The Greenspoint District was created because of a vision, and it operates in the same manner today.The District has mobilized community volunteers to create numerous groups aimed at addressing community challenges. Below is a list of those groups.

Greens Bayou Corridor Coalition

The Greens Bayou Corridor Coalition (GBCC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting infrastructure improvements along Greens Bayou that foster economic growth, improve quality of life and preserve green space.

Greenspoint Community Partners

Greenspoint Community Partners is a nonprofit organization created in 2004 to work closely with the District and other public and private organizations to fund programs that strengthen the community. The Greater Greenspoint Redevelopment Authority

The Greater Greenspoint Redevelopment Authority

The Greater Greenspoint Redevelopment Authority oversees the area’s Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone (TIRZ). The Redevelopment Authority provides incentives for developers to build or redevelop in Greenspoint. Through agreements arranged prior to the start of construction, the Redevelopment Authority can reimburse developers for public infrastructure and amenities they include in their projects.

Houston Intercontinental Hospitality Alliance

With so many hotels and restaurants to choose from, the Houston Intercontinental Hospitality Alliance makes it easier for meeting planners and travelers to learn about the area’s resources.

Greens Bayou Task Force

In response to the flooding that occurred during Tropical Storm Allison, the Greenspoint District created the Greens Bayou Task Force to address flooding issues in the area. The Task Force is comprised of property owners, elected officials, stakeholders and Harris County Flood Control District representatives.

North Corridor Coalition

The North Corridor Coalition is a partnership organized by the Greenspoint District that advocates for north Houston's mobility needs.
